Extruded dense epdm cord, epdm o ring for industry
Extruded dense EPDM rubber cord has a very good resistance to weather, UV, ozone, water and steam, with good properties in castor and some phosphate ester based fluids. It’s low and high temperature capability is good, also with good rebound resilience.
EPDM cord is commonly used for O-rings and packing applications, different sizes and hardness are available.
The smallest diameter we can do is about 1.5mm，the biggest diameter we can do is about 35mm.
Hardness from 50shore A to 85shore A.
Other materail also available, such as neoprene (CR), Nitrile (NBR), Silicone, Viton (FKM) etc.
EPDM rubber cord also can be joint to a ring, either hot joint or cold joint, hot joint need to make a corner tooling and vulcanzined welding ends together, cold joint use glue make them adhesive together, but joint point also very strong.
