Most of the sealing strips are extruded. The material is always in a heated and stretched state during this process.
The processing temperature is generally between 130~170℃. The sealing strip will shrink when it is cooled down to room temperature.
Therefore, it is necessary to add a length before cutting the sealing strip according to the specifications and place it for 4 to 8 hours in order to fully shrink and then cut it according to the specifications. However, the final cut sealing strips are all within the tolerance range.
